Waughaa.. it s really great
my apache is really doing well in all the climate condtions.
north east monsoon is already started. bangalore will receive more rains during north east monsoon..south east monsoon is always a pleasant one..rains only during evening time.. always after office hours..but north east monsoon rains could not be predicated at all. heavy rains may come at any time..it s real testing time for bike drivers. the rain jackets wont come for a help at all. there wont be a visibility at all.
but i enjoy rains..especially rains across southern karnataka rains would give direct effect to my native tanjore delta region. we are depent on rains across southern karnataka.. if its raining heavily karnataka we can see millions of happy faces in Delta region of tamilnadu.
my apache is performing well during rainy seasons no stooping quick start and same pickup and not but least good balancing during rainy seasons. goes steady and hurreehhhh and big hats to TVS team made a excellent bike.

as for me tamil blog world is worst place in the world
the caste or religion oriented arguments, terrorist supports and individual targeting and black mailing is very famous over there ..
blogging is a way to speak our hearts..we should spend our time something useful to readers.. caste + religion fights nothing going to gain anything
ok some tamil sites which i trust will give u good message and real feeding for your nerves

TVS Apache 160cc RTR

i was very confused for few months to purchase a bike. There were all BIG brands in the market. There was HONDA Unicorn, BAJAJ Pulsar,& TVS Apache. I have tested all the bikes on road. It was apache that got into my attention. First thing I noticed is the LOOKS. And the next best thing is the ’Handling’.
I purchased RTR in July end . What I really felt now is the "Silencer Noise" . Its the racing noise that you will feel once you rise the throttle. I have already touched 117 km/ph in highway . Looking for more now...............
The cold morning starts are a problem.. well.. not exactly but compared to other bikes in its class..hmm.. but the moment you ride it for a while, get the engine warmed up.. take a break for 5mins or so...and start.. voila! New energy in the bike! I have no idea how to interpret this!
Leave the bike on center-stand when you come in for the day. I found this resulted in much better cold starts.
The bike would have definitely done better had the engine got a twin spark system too. .maybe if the TVS wins the case against Bajaj, the new RTRs might get them..
m...
i gave the bike for its first free service after doing 700kms. But soon, the electronic fuel guage went haywire and seemed to have a mind of its own. Then the speedo dropped to zero!
i am a not a such a heavy user..only during weekeends i used to travel with my apache
the trip to nandi hills with apache was amazing.. changing the gears between 4 and 5 while climbing the hairpin bends in a average speed of 50 ..Waugh it s really amazing and wonderfull experience
ok let us define about +s and - ve points
first let us start with +ves
1. handling is cool... best fit for city driving condtions.. the adjustable handle bar makes the life easy
2. solid pickup... i am always leading in congested bangalore signals
3. no noise.. no vibration ..
4.excellent braking systems
5.no vibrations
-ve's which i have noticed
1the digital speedometer is not up to standard ..and also the fuel indicator most of the time shows the wrong value. the speedometer was went to null state after 400kms.. and during my bike first service it was replaced now the state is okay..
2 the gear chaning has some issues.. while reducing the speed and shifting the gears from 5 to N most of the time it s not happening properly.. after first service i feel some improvement.. let us wait and see further improvements.
