Nokia woman employee crushed to death in factory
CHENNAI: In a horrifying incident on Sunday evening at Nokia’s manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur, a 22-year-old woman died after her neck was crushed inside a machine.
What’s more, technicians refused to switch off even when she was bleeding through her nose and mouth, writhing in pain for over 20 minutes.

On Monday, agitated workers of the cell phone factory gathered at the Apollo hospital premises, where she was brought for treatment.

The incident took place at 6.50 pm and Ambiga remained trapped till 7.15 pm, he said, as the technicians did not press the emergency button, saying the production process could not be stopped.

After Ambiga was taken to hospital, shift manager Purushothaman told the others to get back to work, saying, “She is alright”, triggering angry retorts from them asking: “‘Will you behave like this if it was one from your family?”

Nokia's finland orgin preaches very high humanistic standards for their citizens but they are treating the developing countries like india as blind coolie's .. production loss is much important for them when compared a human life..if it would have happened in finland , the government would have asked Nokia to shut down it doors..
but shamefully in india , the production started again after removing the girl's dead body..is the human life is bad shape in india???
in and arround chennai most of the major factories like nokia follows the strict lab-our policy.. no labor union ..recently hyundai factory workers were thrashed by the police force for demanding union for them.,
all the rural fellows were getting attracted by pickup and drop facilities , Air conditioned factories..but no one cares about the cheap salary and bad working condition. ..for the name sake labor department will conduct few raids and everyone will forgot this after a month...
Kerala may be bad example for communism but the strict disciplined values are still followed in kerala..starting from the local auto driver to casual labors life standard is much improved when compared to any other state in india..
in other side the much industry friendly tamilnadu the life standards of the peoples were going down..agriculture is totally destroyed.. ..the main funda of cheap labor pulling more industries .....and the colorful dreams of rural people were utilized so badly.. this is an bad un noticed change in the society ..

when any guy proposes to a girl shows respects them,,,definitely he would be treated so badly .
but at the same time when any guy insults them, dominates them ...the girl will show enormous respect and affection to the guy !! ??

i m closely associated with river cauvery ..the days i lived closely with cauvery, the days learned swimming, the agriculture in our land in mannargudi...need to write a lot about those..the water sharing issue ..the change of method's in the farming....doing analysis on those..will write during my diwali holiday's
